A Passion Built From Experience
My path to chiropractic began long before I entered school. I graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology, then spent six years with the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation — one of the premier fitness facilities in the region — training professional athletes, post-rehab clients, and people ranging from teenagers to their 90s.
I also performed fitness assessments for City of Boulder employees and the Fire Department, and for several years lectured as adjunct faculty at Lake Tahoe Community College in Health and Wellness, Sports Nutrition, and Biology. That background in movement and exercise science shapes everything I do in practice today.
It was my own healing journey that brought me to chiropractic — recovering from a mountain bike crash and accumulated stress through a 10-series of Rolfing and chiropractic care. The results were remarkable enough that I went back to school. I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in the Bay Area in 2010, and spent the next 14 years in practice in the Eastern Sierra before opening Ridgecrest Chiropractic.
Education & Credentials
Intentional Care, One Patient at a Time
After 14 years in practice, I made a deliberate decision to bring my care to Ridgecrest — to build something slower, more focused, and closer to home. I'm not in a rush. My approach emphasizes functional movement, structural alignment, and genuine listening.
Drawing on my background in exercise science, personal training, and sports medicine, I treat the whole person — not just the complaint. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply maintaining your health, you'll find a doctor who takes the time to understand your goals and your life.

The Mountains
Skiing, mountain biking, and hiking in the Sierra. The outdoors aren't just a hobby — they're what drives his understanding of how the body moves under real demand.
Elio
Dr. Gray's dog Elio is becoming a regular presence at the office. With the right temperament for it, he may well be on his way to becoming a certified therapy dog.
Rooted in Ridgecrest
Dr. Gray and his partner Cindy have made Ridgecrest home. He's here to stay — and here to serve the community with the kind of care this town deserves.
